In honor of Black History month, we have opened the Underground Railroad Museum in the park each saturday morning at 10am in February. Here is little from today:

Freedom Park got a nice boost for the bike riders who visit and travel through the park. Some trail marks were painted on pathways to better help cyclists on their travels It is a great improvement for bike riders and walkers alike.

Freedom Park is taking on a real festive air with additional holiday lights, dressing up the park for the season.

Back to work in the park on this Sunday afternoon, we went to work to add a few festive touches for the upcoming holiday season.
The Buffalo Urban League Annual Gala
The Buffalo Urban League held their annual gala on Saturday. We were thrilled to get dressed up and celebrate the League’s good work and the exciting news of the campus building project on Jefferson Avenue.

It’s Official and Real!
It’s OFFICIAL! The Broderick Park name change was finalized today to FREEDOM PARK. The FOBP would like to thank each and every one who wrote a letter of support or signed the Petition. This is a great day for the people of Buffalo.
